New Park....

We are building a new park.  This park is special, it is called the All Abilities Park.  It is a park that those with disabilities can enjoy and well as those who don't have a disability.
This little train is part of this park.  It has a special place where is it parked at the park to keep it safe when not in use.  Because the park is far from being done, it is kept parked in it's place most of the time.  I was called by one of the managers to come out and take pictures of the train because they had it out to run it a bit.  I didn't have my camera.  My son Aaron had it.  He doesn't live far from this park, so I called him and asked him to go and take some pictures, which he did.  These pictures are a few of the ones he took.
You can see the ramp, for those in wheel chairs, and it locks them in so they can enjoy a ride.  I will post more pictures as it gets completed.  It actually has a volcano that is being built now that will erupt and steam will come out of it.  Holy cow I hope I don't have to reserve the pavilions there.  The phone won't stop ringing and I'll go home as a crazier person than I am now.  BUT, if they decide that the pavilions should be reserved, I will be doing that.  I know the public thinks there are a few people here answering the phone.  They will call, and call, and call over and over again.  It drives me crazy because I'm helping someone else and can't answer their call.  The public also doesn't understand that I do a million other things here.  After all I am the secretary.  I do bills, I do deposits, I make sure the plants are all watered.I do work orders, answer calls from Police dispatch about things like vandalism, graffiti, do agendas, take minutes in meetings, make sure the office runs efficiently, Susan will you do this or that, yata, yata, yata.  Ack!  Two more years, I will be able to retire and door won't hit me in the butt fast enough.  Yesterday I turned 64 and one year closer to getting out of here.  Don't get me wrong, I love all the guys I work with, and I actually like my job (well sometimes) but I'm tired, I want to do what I want to do.  Sorry about my rant, guess I needed to get it off my chest.
