Random pics from around the ole homestead, since I'm not supposed to walk anywhere yet....

 This is the steeple on the chapel that I go to for church.

 Dark skies between the trees.  We've had some real fierce storms come through this week.

 This plant (if I could remember what it's called) is shooting up purple spike flowers in my backyard.

 I was surprised to see my Chaste Tree blooming again.

These little flowers are real survivors.  Dog, no water, my grass trimmer.  They always come back.

chaste tree - that's vitex, yes? i got some seeds from a blogger friend that i'm going to soak over winter and plant next spring. fingers crossed!

i like those tough little yellow ones. i need some of those kinds. :)

The low green plant with purple spikes is liriope or monkey grass, I think.
Very pretty steeple and the skies in that 2nd photo are threatening. We had rain this week but thankfully, no storms.

I was gonna say Monkey grass too... that's what we call it...beautiful sky photo...love yellow flowers...

Gotta love a plant that comes back no matter what you do. :) Beautiful sky behind the steeple.
