more flooding pictures.....

More storm flooding pictures.  I didn't take these pictures, but I thought I would put them up.  Most of the flooding was in streets and in washes.  On Main St. in downtown St. George, man holes were blowing off the lids and spouting water. I would have loved to see that.  A few of our parks and trails have been damaged, and there was massive clean up of mud and debris.  Quite a few homes were flooded and will have a difficult time ahead of them.  Today the water was flooding in the southeast of our county.  Zion National Park ( about 45 minutes away) had flash flood warnings for its slot canyons and the subway tunnel.  All that water flows into the Virgin River, so I imagine it will be full again, at least for awhile.  We actually made the national news.

Gosh ~ too much rain in one area and not enough rain in the next. You think ol' Mother Nature could spread the weather around a bit and even it out! Hope everyone stays safe!

Laughing at pup standing on the chair ~ LOL!

I don't know which is worse...flooding or drought. I think when you are involved in one, the other looks better.
