I am SO TIRED! My daughter, her husband and two boys arrived from Virginia on Monday. To say I've gotten to bed at my 9:00 p.m. cut off time would be a flat out lie. I have to get up between 4:45 am and 5:00 am to get ready, pack a lunch and get Tiah taken care of before I leave for work at 6:30 am. I am one of those persons that needs a lot of sleep. Always have been. My energy levels are low and it's really hard to keep going even though I force myself too. Just my body make up I guess. Even when I was a kid, just going to Disneyland would make my feet and legs hurt, even though my mother always made sure we had well made shoes. I'm even having a hard time going out and taking pictures and reading posts from all your wonderful blogs out there. I get started and fizzle out after a couple. I just can't seem to keep my mind from wandering or shutting down and I struggle with what to say when I comment. Wierdorama! It is fun to have my kids here, Sarah will be here all summer, her husband will fly home in a couple of weeks. My gift to him, a summer without wife and kids :))
My eldest son is coming up from California this weekend too! I can't wait to see him. The kid's dad, his family, is having a family reunion here in town and Jason is coming to it. He's never been here during the summer. I usually only see him at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Tiah is enjoying my 8-year old grandson, Jacob. He chases her, she chases him, and they have a ball. It's so cute to watch. She's not bored anymore! Plus my daughter Sarah is good at training her. She had already started to change. I'm watching everything so I can keep up the good work when they leave. I'm afraid Tiah and Jacob will really miss each other. Ryan is 2 and is still working on getting used to Tiah. When she walks up and licks him, he pushes her and away and says, "no Tiah, no lick, stupid dog." It is so funny.
Anyway, that's my life for right now. Hopefully when I get more used to having people in the house, I'll get my butt in bed earlier and feel more rested.
Ya'll have a good day!
