Salt Lake City...

This is a statue of the angel Moroni.  He sits on every LDS Temple.

These are pictures of the Salt Lake City temple.

Reflection pool on the temple grounds.
Flowers still blooming in the mild weather Utah has been having this fall.

Statue of seagulls.  When the pioneers first came to the Salt Lake Valley to escape persecution in the east, one of their first crops was being eaten up by crickets.  It was all they had to keep them through the winter and it was being destroyed.  After praying for divine help, seagulls came in droves and ate the crickets, would disgorge them and start eating again, therefore saving the crops for the pioneers to have to eat for the winter.
My family, minus 2 sons, and 1 daughter, 2 son-in-laws, 1 daughter-in-law, and 4 grandchildren.  We had a great time together.

Hi Susan, thank you for following and visiting my blog. You are so kind to leave a message too. America intrigues me, so many states to visit so full of histories. I heard so much about Salt Lake City and I am interested to visit it one day, God willing.
Hope you are having a good weekend.

Blessings,
Aida
