Mother's Day hike....

 Colorful lichen
Far off Pine Mountain with snow in May?  It's been raining a lot here lately.  Very odd for us.  And cold too.  Wierdorama!

 Creosote tree blooming..
 Odd rock.

I have no idea what this is.  Looks like a miniature tomato.  Hmmmm....

We went on a little hike on the Temple Quarry Trail.  It was a beautiful day, and a long hike, well, for me anyway.

You take such awesome photos! Love the third one of the mountains. So beautiful! And the next one of the rock (boulder?) makes me think it looks like it wouldn't take much for it to fall!

Beautiful pictures.
Next time we are down your way, we'll have to be sure to hike that trail :)

Have a happy day.

Love the lichens. You know something has been around awhile if there's lichens on it.
A beautiful day for a Mother's Day hike.
I got my pony out and went for a relaxing, non cow chasing ride! :)

Those rocks are so oddly shaped. Wonder why!
