Holy Cow, what a month August has been......

What a month!  A month of family, many disagreements, lots of fun together, and lots of eating out.

Sick Dad, he was in the hospital almost the whole month.  He's home now, recuperating and still weak.
Sick children, vacation doesn't make you immune to the stomach flu.  Three of them got it.  I even got a touch of it.
Some family fun at the lake.  Gave everyone the itchies from skin that had gotten sunburned.
We had lots of cloudy skies this month.

Lots of down pours, one night 1 inch in 20 minutes.  Boy did that create havoc and produce rock slides and mud slides everywhere.

And finally some peace and down time for me and Tiah.
After a month of just trying to survive the heat, the frenzy, and worries.
                              Ahhhhhh.........

Tiah looks thoughtful..was she watching a critter or something? I'm glad your father is doing better, I'll add him to my prayers. Sorry the kids got the stomach bug..back to school now, hope they don't catch any more bugs.
Your couch looks like the perfect place to relax!

Been wondering where you'd been. So glad to hear Dad is improved. That corner looks so inviting. Just curl up there for a good rest.

I hope your Dad and the kiddos are feeling better. If it's any consolation…your photos always give me the warm and fuzzies.
