Ocotillo plant....

 This plant is called an Ocotillo Plant.  Common name is lipstick plant.  The ends blooms a red flower.
 This is a close up of the Ocotillo plant.  They require hardly any water.
  Sometimes it take a few years before they really take hold and bloom.

First time I've noticed this.  I wonder if it's new or maybe just the plants are.  Ivins is the little town I live in.

Living in AZ we have lots of those around....but I don't know if I have ever seen one in bloom.
