Just life...

I have to confess I am so glad that in a few weeks, summer will be winding down  Except for the really hot spell we had in the beginning, it's actually been a great summer.  Nothing higher than 105, which here is not so bad.
But to feel a cool breeze and have the nights cold sounds really good right now.
My eldest child, Jason, has decided to live in France.  He has been there quite awhile now.  He's come home to sell all his belongings, and his car, and will return as soon as his Visa is approved.  He will be staying with me until till that is accomplished.  I'm looking forward to him coming here for a few weeks and spending time with the family and me before he goes back.  I don't know when we'll all see him again.
Tiah is asleep in her crate, and all is quiet around here right now.  I'm gonna go sit outside for awhile and soak up the night.  Maybe I'll see a falling star or if I'm lucky a UFO.  Hehe...Area 51 isn't to far from here, so we tend to see weird things in the sky every now and then.

WOWW! that is truly some beautiful country. I cant imagine my baby moving so far away. My son just moved to Oregon, 7 hours away, and I cried and cried! lol! I love sitting outside at night and listening to the quietness and watching the stars. I see a lot of satellite's cruising the sky. We went to Area 51 - way cool!

Your scenery is beautiful. Nice for your son to live in France, but I suspect that feels a bit sad for you to have him so far away. Enjoy his visit. I am looking forward to the end of summer too.

I love sitting out on the porch at night, too. These are such pretty photos, especially the last one. All the best to your son. Enjoy your precious time together. Maybe you can share some pics once he gets established there.

Wow that first pic really shows how high up you are. Did you climb to that heighth or is that just the elevation where you are? It's breathtaking!

I'll actually miss summer when it leaves because it hasn't been as hot as usual.

Love your beautiful photos. The scenery there is just breathtaking.

I know you'll miss your son. I'd hate to see mine move that far away. But what an adventure for him! I would have loved to have done that when I was younger!

Beautiful shots. What town am I seeing through the red rocks? I know you will miss your son but what a great adventure for him and you could go visit. Right? I like to sit outside in the evenings too. Watching stars and shooting stars and who knows what else. MB

What is your son going to do in France, if you don't mind my asking. Just curious. Cannot imagine moving so far from home. I hope he has a good life there.

And right now, cool weather sounds sort of good to me, too. Where it feels okay to have to be inside and do housework, etc.

Since Jason has been there for some time, he knows what is in store. Start right now saving up your pennies so that within a year or so you can go visit him in France!! Been to Paris one time but would love to go back to see it again and more of the country.
