While you guys are taking pictures of birds, I'm saving their lives. The other morning while I was getting ready for work, I saw Star walk in my bedroom with something big in her mouth. She let it go and low and behold I had a baby dove loose in my bedroom. I chased it around, trying to get to it before the cat. Millions of feathers later, I was able to pick it up with my pajama top. Because I wasn't dressed yet, I wrapped it up and put it on my bed. It seemed quite comfortable and warm. I had to throw Star out the door and close any windows she could come in. A little while later I picked it up and took it outside. No cats around. I put it on a branch but it fell off. So I just left it on the ground. Mom dove was buzzing around, so I left quickly. When I got home it was gone and no feathers or carcasses around to say it got eaten. Yay! Oh and THEN, that night, I was woke up from a deep sleep with flapping and Star running all over, especially me. It was a huge moth she had brought in. Now let me tell you, I HATE Moths! They give me the creeps! It finally landed on the curtains, and "bang" a thought came into my mind, if I open the window, it will fly out. I tried to coax it out, but it would have none of it. After flapping around my room one more time, it flew out. There I am yelling "YAY" and waving my arms in the air since I can't jump because of my sore legs. That cat is KILLING me!
By the way, I am going to the doctor finally to hopefully find out what is going on with my knee. It's KILLING me too!
