The skies were absolutely beautiful. It was breezy, warm and deserted. Didn't really see anyone else, which is nice, because I can just let Tiah off her leash so she can run.
So may plants are starting to bloom and coming back to life.
I saw this, and thought well, I'll take a picture, it turned out better than I thought it would.
I had to take a picture of this. If you remember, last fall I took pictures of the ground that had dried after a heavy rain we had. It was cracked. Well, look what's growing out of the cracks now.
A swirl in the red sand from a rain storm and had dried in this interesting shape.
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Day. I went to Church with my Dad, Mom and my kids and grandkids. It was a wonderful, inspiring meeting. Then we all went to Chuck A Rama to eat. Everyone had a good time, all talking and laughing. One of those rare times when everyone is in a good mood and enjoying each others company. I left a little early with my parents because my Dad, who is still having a difficult time, needed to go home and rest. I went home and Tiah and I both napped then I took her on our hike. Unfortunately on the way home my car broke down. Luckily I was able to make it home to my garage, but I think a new car is in my future tomorrow. I think my old gal has given up the ghost. Guess I won't be going to work tomorrow. I've had a feeling for awhile now that the time had come for a new vehicle, so I'm not to surprised.
Tex, I promise to leave my blog alone for awhile. :))
