Nostalgia and peaceful...

Oh how I love this picture.  From the looks of the cars, it looks a little before I was born.  It's how I imagine Christmas should look like.  I'm sitting on the couch, it's peaceful, Tiah is asleep on the couch, Star, one of my kitties sitting on my lap sleeping, and Squeek is outside meowing, wanting me to let her in.  If she would just come around to the back and come in the pet door she would be in, but noooooo, she'd rather bug me.  It's cold outside.  24 degrees.  Brrrrr......  And yes, I changed my background yet again.  Can't seem to find what I really want.  What's funny, is that I hardly ever change anything at home.  It's always the same.  But my computer stuff I change all the time.  Maybe because there is so much out there that I really like.  I just want to use it all.  Anywhoooo, I hope you are all having a peaceful night.

Great picture.
Reminds me of the way things looked at Christmas time, when I was a kid.

"Silver bells" would play on the speakers over town, and snow would cover all the awnings in town.

Magical.

Enjoy your evening, my friend.

Any small town, USA- love it. Cats are so demanding, aren't they? :)

I love this picture...it reminds me of a little town my family lived in a couple of years when I was a child (Ponca City, Oklahoma). Really does look like it, but I am sure there are many small towns that look like this. It really is a great picture. Hope you are enjoying the Christmas season!

I was telling my hubby the other night that sometimes I wish I was born in a simpler time! This pic makes me think of a simple, slower paced time in the world :)

I love the old-fashioned scenes like this one. Makes me long for those times to come back.
I think your background is very pretty!

I agree that the picture is what Christmas should be...at least in my mind.

Cats are independent. It's frustrating but it'scalso what I like about them. :))

Okay, you have two cats...is one continually wanting something...I kid you not, one will want in, and as we let that one in, one of the others will run out. We call ourselves the Cat Herders...
