I have such a soft spot in my heart for Police Officers. Yes, there are those that aren't so good, but the majority of them really want to help. They encounter situations that most of us will never see. And what we almost never see is the good things they do. These are only a few pictures of heart softening moments. It's true, they love their police dogs. It's true that their hearts go out to children in bad circumstances, and it's true they help those less fortunate than they.
Many of them have hardened hearts because of the terrible things they see and experience. But I have no doubt that the spirit of love invades that hardness at times.

should inspire more of us to be like this.... and should also fill our hearts with gratitude that we are not the guy with no shoes or socks
