Changes.....

Is there anything more constant in life than change?  I use to hate change, I wanted things to quit changing, because I couldn't keep up.  Now as I get older, I enjoy change (to a point anyway).  Change can make life a little more interesting.  Yes it can definitely change for the worse.  These I don't look forward to, but I've also noticed that even when something bad happens, the best thing we can do, is change our attitude towards what has happened.  This brings me to the changes I've dealt with lately.  I had to give up my office to another person.  I moved back up front with the other secretary.  As I took my collage down, I felt a pang of disappointment.  I was really enjoying putting up those pictures.  Where I am now, I cannot do that.  BUT, it was a good decision to put me back up front, so I decided to embrace it.  Second, my feet are starting to feel better, but now my knees, especially my right knee have been extremely painful.  It may be a result of my feet, or a result of getting old, heck, I don't know.  But I have a appointment to get them checked next week.  I won't wait as long as I did with my feet.  The next change is that my oldest daughter, who had moved to California, moved back and moved in with me for a month or so.  She has now moved into her own house.  It was a change in my life that was good.  To have her and the boys here was an opportunity to reconnect with her and the boys, and to develop a better relationship with her.  What a blessing for me.  I do miss them now that they have moved out, but she is still near, and for that I am grateful, with hopes that our relationship will continue to get better and better.  Pretty soon we will all vote for President.  We may have a new president or not.  Whether it goes the way you wish or not, it will be a change and one that we will need to support and hope for the best.  I want to encourage all to go and vote.  It is a important right that we have.  I hope you all make the decision you feel is best for us all.  Oh and lastly I am going to have a new Grand-daughter in February.  A girl!  I can't wait to meet her and hold her.

Change is often difficult but I have learned thru life that God is with us and knows best. So happy about the improved relations with your daughter and so happy for the new little granddaughter.

So many changes including your new Halloween look. Did you paint the "home sweet home" picture?
