As I was driving through this little canyon on my way home I noticed that all the rains we've had has produced little yellow flowers carpeting the desert floor. In all the time I've lived here I've never seen this before.
Dark stormy skies were hanging over Pine Mountain. You can almost see the rain pouring down. Lightning was also punctuating the skies, but of course I didn't catch one.
These are desert Marigolds. They grow everywhere here, but, they
are really in abundance this summer.
I have no idea what these little yellow flowers are. Like I said I've never seen this before here.
The pictures don't do it justice. It's amazing to see.
