Home....

Home, such a beautiful word isn't it.  I am so glad to be home from my little jaunt up to northern Utah.  It was beautiful up there, the air cool, and green everywhere even though they haven't had much rain.  But hotel rooms and road trips don't amount to much when you miss the one place you feel yourself.  The one place where you feel safe, the one place that is you.  Not to mention your comfortable bed, your pillows, and your own bathroom with a magnifying mirror so you can see putting on your make-up.
And then there is your best pal.  I missed Tiah.  I wondered how she was doing in the boarding place she was staying at.  I wonder what she thought?  I wonder what happened to her while she was there.  I know one thing, she has come home with an eye infection.  Poor little big thing.  One of her eyes is seeping and bloodshot.  I will see if I can get her into the vet tomorrow.  It's nice to have her sleeping on the couch up next to me.  In fact all day she has eaten a lot, which makes me wonder if she didn't get enough to eat there, and not left my side.  And, she is so tired.  Maybe she didn't sleep any better than I did while I was gone.  Anyway, I'm SO glad to be home.  Back to work tomorrow.  I'm even looking forward to that.  Weirdorama!

Love to roam, and see new things, but home is best :)
Glad that you were able to travel safely.

Hope Tiah gets feeling better soon.
Poor thing, she literally gets sick missing you.

Awww....my little dogs don't eat when we aren't home and not much when they travel in the RV with us. They hate their schedule being interrupted!

Nice to "meet" you!

Poor Tiah and Poor Susan...home is just always the best place. When my daughter had her surgery in 2011, I was away from home for 3 weeks...

As for Tiah's eye, if you don't get her in to the vet, make up some salt water...say a teaspoon in a couple cups of warm water. Use a soft cloth with the salt water wrung out and wash her eyes out a time or two a day. Salt water is a miracle healer.

I wash my eyes like that and it helps, we had a calf that a horse bit its neck and the skin came off...all we used was salt water morning and night, and then my husband's dad was in the hospital and a guy there had a sore on his lip from holding his pipe...the doctor had him use saltwater on it and it healed it. Just to name a few things....

Home home is always the best place to be - I too love to travel and I am always glad to be back home in my bed and I giggled at you misssing your magnifying mirror - that's something I need..wink!
When we leave and have to leave out sweet toby (dog) he doesn't eat well nor sleeps.. So we try to take him with us when we can..
Best of luck ..
