Busy day....

It was a busy day!  I took Tiah to work with me and everyone had fun playing with her until I took her to the vet.  She has a slight fever, a infection, and eye infection.  The vet said that is why she is shedding so much.  She fighting the infection.  So he put her on antibiotic pills, eye drops, and pain medication to help her feel better.    I went to Costco to buy some fresh fruit and chicken and turkey. I put some of her dog food in her bowl and added blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, some chopped up cooked chicken and some cottage cheese.  She loved it and ate every bit of it.  It made me feel good to see her eat!  She got more medicine and now she is contentedly asleep on the couch.  My feet are getting less painful, and I know it's the medicine, and that I need to stay off of them.  I'm so tired tonight.  Between work, not getting much sleep last night, and running Tiah to the vet and home has really worn me out.  Now I'm worried about Squeek.  I haven't seen her since yesterday morning.  So I'm worried she's stuck at the animal shelter (I hope) or she's met an untimely end like a couple of my other cats have.  I keep calling her, but I haven't seen her.  So if I don't see her tonight, then I will have to see if the animal shelter has picked her up, dead or alive.  Last year my kitty, Hobie, who I had with me for 13 years, was very, very ill so I had to have him put to sleep.  Broke my heart.  Then a week later, I got a call from the animal shelter, they had Spot, my sweet little kitten who had been hit by a car and died.  I buried them both in my back yard.  Unfortunately Squeek's collar disappeared to identify her, so if they have her they won't know who to call.  Luckily Star is a homebody, and doesn't go far, and she isn't afraid of Tiah, in fact I've seen them sleep together.  So I don't worry about her so much.  Anyway, I'm off to bed.  It's still light outside, but I am having a hard time keeping my eyes open.

I just saw Squeek run through the house!  YAY, she's ok!

Hi Susan, So sorry you and Tiah are not well. I am just seeing your update that Squeek is ok - that is such great news.
My pets always perk up when I play a video on the computer. That's cute that Tiah heard my rooster!!!
Sleep well and feel better soon.

I went to Layout like you suggested, but I don't see 'Blogs I Follow' in there anywhere... are you sure it's Layout? I don't see a link for 'Blogs I Follow' anywhere... This new google+ crap has me so confused... they think they're updating stuff, but they're really just screwing it up!!!

I hope Tiah gets well soon...and that you feel better and that your kitty comes home.

After my cats are gone, I am pretty sure I am not getting any more. Too painful to lose them.

Hope you are feeling better soon and that Tiah gets well, too. So glad you know that Squeek is okay! I can't imagine losing my Stormy. But she's an inside kitty and I won't let her get near a door. I have 3 outside kitties that I worry about, tho.

it's so hard with pets...we've had to put 2 of our dogs down in the last 3 or 4 years...now our poor schnauzer Jake is next...that's the bad thing about getting them all around the same time..they all get old around the same time...
