Another fire....

I guess this one was started by lightening which we've had a lot of.  This fire is about 20 miles away, but easily seen from my house.  No danger for us.  I just hate to see fires though.  I went to a podiatrist yesterday, because my feet have been hurting really bad for about 6 months now.  I thought it would go away.  But I found out that I have a ruptured tendon in my right foot and really bad bone spurs in my left foot.  No wonder I can't even walk around the house without feeling like crying.  He said it was really bad, gave me shots in my heels (oh that was an experience I don't wish to do again), gave me prednisone to take and pain medication, and get this, I'm supposed to wear backless, heels.  Shoes with heels are what my feet need.  I was surprised at that.  AND I'm not supposed to walk anywhere, not shopping, work, anywhere.  Now how in the heck am I supposed to do that?  He was very close to putting boots on my feet and give me crutches.  Taking Tiah to the vet today.  She is sick.  Hopefully it won't be anything that antibiotics can't take care of.  See!  I have to walk, I have to get things done, I have no one to do it for me.  I need to go to the grocery store, and go somewhere for some good shoes with heels, I have to walk around my work, I have to mow the lawn, I have to vacuum, I have to cook meals for myself, dang!

oohhhh no, i hope the pain subsides.

be careful with prednisone, it has some serious side effects and can change you personality, just a tad. make sure you read up on it, or message me. i am an expert!!

I am so sorry, Susan! As a fellow single woman, I can relate to you only too well. Sending healing thoughts for you and Tiah, my friend.

The smoke will mess up that beautiful blue sky and white fluffy clouds.

Is this from a dry lightning strike?

Ouch, that sounds so painful. Hope you get to feeling better soon. You better try and listen to the doc as much as possible. I know it's tough friend but they do know best.

Well, heck!!! That doesn't sound good at all. Do your best to take care of those feet, though.

I'm so very sorry about your feet. I had shots in my neck a couple of weeks ago and it was so painful. My meds have helped me greatly and I hope yours give you some relief. You and I are in the same situation; there's no one else to do the stuff - we can't just sit down!
Praying that you and Tiah feel better soon.
