Storm clouds....

Dark clouds coming in from both sides of our valley.  I hope it actually rains instead of passing us by.

The road home.  I live about a mile from the mountain itself.

Hi Susan,

Great picture. Just love that red rock.

We got some rain finally last night with good winds. It was nice.

And also at least one bolt of lightning. It hit the power station just north of town and I think the entire town and surrounding area were out of power from about 6:30 til almost 1am. The recording at the power company said 7,200+ were powerless.

I was grateful that the winds and rain had cooled things down before the outage. With oh fans or AC it would have been bad if it hadn't.

I hope you got some rain.

Take care, Janet W ((hugs))

Hope you did get some rain from those clouds. We have been having storms pass us by all week ( good thing I guess because my husband has been re roofing our house). Have a great weekend. By the way, your little grandson is adorable!
