Freedom....

As I drove to work early this morning ( I start at 7:00 a.m. and leave home at 6:30 a.m.) I was first hit with the wonderful fragrance of alfalfa being watered.  The alfalfa fields had been cut and rows of it laid on the ground ready to be made into bales.  Another field was being watered.  Oh what a wonderful smell.  I drove to the Gas Mart, got me a Diet Coke, and got on the road.  The air coming in the windows was soft and cool.  The sky, a little overcast with the promise of blue sky later in the morning.  The mountains around me looked so pretty.  I just wish I could take a picture of what I see, but they never turn out as good as I see.  I guess because when you see sights like mine, it's not just my sight, it's all my senses.  The smell of the fresh air, the quietness except of my tires on the road, the majesty of the mountains and the wonder of how they were created.  Everyday, I try to enjoy my surroundings, because there is always the possibility that something may happen that could take that away.  I think of all those that I blog with and wish you were there with me.  I wish Leontien could see and feel the air on her skin, and maybe feel good for a moment in time.  I wish others who have ailments or take care of those that are sick, could feel the freedom of putting their heads back, sticking their arms out the window,  just feeling relaxed by the drive.  We all have times in our lives when the burdens get so heavy and we falter a little.  Those are times when we need to feel that burden lightened if only for a moment and feel free and relaxed.   I hope for all of you reading this, that you will have those times that you need so badly!  Love you all so much!

Our troubles are not bad compared to some, but they are enough till I wonder how people live with it that have bad things to deal with constantly.
