My little home in the desert....

The spring flowers are starting to bloom.  I love it!

Her harness is a little big, but I'm pretty sure she's gonna grow into it.  I like it better because I hate tugging on her neck all the time.  Just doesn't seem right.  I think she's a lot more comfortable.
I moved furniture around this morning.  I just needed to do something.  Kinda a spring cleaning thing.  I wanted to get the love seat out and make the room more spacious.
Besides it's one less couch to tell Tiah "OFF".  Ya know I've had that old couch for twenty some years now.  Some day a new couch and chair for me.
Everyone that first sees this little statue thinks it's a real cat.
I had this little one for a long time now.
My antique table.  It was a 100 years old when I got it 40 years ago.
Moved the love seat into the little den I have.  Now Tiah can have that couch!  She sleeps in her dog crate at night.  I'm washing her blankets that I keep in there for her.  It was beginning to smell a little too doggie for me.  Hopefully my daughter will get here soon so we can go on our hike.  She had soccer games to watch first this morning.  I have been cleaning and vacuuming, dusting and moving things around all morning.  I hope I'm not to tired to hike!  NOT!

We always used harnesses for our dogs...and that is what Sarah uses for Otto...just much better than the neck. Sarah has a nifty one for Otto...different to the ones we had here when she was young...

I love your antique table...wish I could get some spring housecleaning done.

Susan, Your home is lovely. I would love sitting on the front porch enjoying all those pretty plants. I just bought a harness for Harriet last week. She seems much more comfy in it. Tiah is so beautiful!
Love the interior of your home...I see a piano - do you play? The antique table is very unique. What a treasure!
Can't wait to see what you discover on your hike today.

Oh I love your entrance porch- so pretty! And that antique table is gorgeous- is that tiles or painted wood on the back?

Thanks for allowing us inside your house, Susan. It is adorable! And you made me blush... I need to clean ours too, but I procrastinate. Shame, shame.

If we were to buy harnesses for our two dogs, we would have to find something that would fit two horses! So, they go "naked" with us (we go dressed though).

If I bring the cake, will you brew the tea?
Love,
mi

Your yard is so beautiful Susan! I think harnesses must be more comfortable than leashes too. How could they not be?

Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!

Moving things around is something we girls just do. My ex used to get confused when he'd get up the next morning to find things aren't where they were when he went to bed. (smile) Your flowers are pretty.
