Tukupetsi Trail....

This trail takes you into the Santa Clara River preserve.  You walk along side up on the plateau and you can take the part of the trail that leads down to the Santa Clara River and to petroglyths.

And guess who?  She's getting big huh?  She loves these walks or hikes, and she has a lot more energy than me.  I thought I'd never get back up the hill to the plateau and back to my car.  Since neither one of us had eaten, I made a swing through McDonalds for a burger, diet coke and fries.  I know, I know, I just ate back all the calories I burned, but boy oh boy, did it taste good and Tiah loved the fries.

Tiah is beautiful! Wow, she has grown!

Such a pretty place to hike. I loved to hike when I was younger and I can remember going too far and wondering IF I could get back to the car!

Really love the shots that you are taking of these trails, and so glad that you and Tiah are having a good time on your wonderful hikes. What a motivator. She is getting pretty big and be she will be getting alot bigger. Look at those big paws. I had a shepherd that loved this sort of hiking and would love to have one again.... but not at least until I retire , whenever that might be. Have a great weekend. Oh, and thanks for the comment on my "castle". LOL

Late getting around to Friday Fences posts and I'm glad to have waited to see the photos from your hike. Like the previous, just stunning. Your photos are just so clean, crisp and infused with amazing colors. Glad you have a hiking partner--love how her backend is perched up on the rock--better smelling or digging stance? My old 15+ pittie loves to go on photo shoots with me and I value his company.
