Out hiking this afternoon....

The trail that the pup and I were hiking on this afternoon.
Came across this beautiful stream bed.  I was hoping it would have some water in it.  But no.....
 Beautiful sand and lava rock.

I have more pictures, but I'm gonna save them for another post.
Tiah is sound asleep next to me on the couch.  She loves these walks!

You are so lucky to be close to nice places like these.

We lived in the northern Uintas and it was great. We are still sorta near there. But it would take 30 mins by car.

I miss it there so much.

Take care my friend, Janet W

Your landscapes are beautiful! Wish I knew how you did it. Mine just always look like a bunch of grass and dirt and rocks!

amazing streambed and place!!! Probably the best way to find water in the bed is to pitch a tent there for the night. LOL! Are these areas pretty close to where you live??? Lucky you!
