From the trail....

 Walking on the trail I was on, I could see Snow Canyon State Park in the distance.
 It is a beautiful park with so much to see.
 There is hiking, camping, sand dunes of red sand, lava rock.  
We do have about 3 extinct volcanoes not far from here.
One of the things I love about this park is the white rock mountains, hence the name Snow Canyon.

Such beautiful scenery Susan! Are you taking your dog with you on these hikes. How comforting and instructive nature can be! Nothing like it!
