This is called the Desert Rose Labyrinth.  I'll have to try it out sometime.  I've never been very good at meditation or the zen thing.  This might actually help me.  Who knows?  Sometimes old ladies learn new tricks!

Wow!! I love that!

I did walk one once, in Brasília, the capital of my country (Brazil). It was at night, and the labyrinth is inside an amazing underground building, with windows on top that open to a neat flower garden. The place was dimly lit, and silent - except for the crickets in the garden out there. It was a neat experience!

In your case, living in this beautiful piece of land, nothing more appropriate and fantastic. I do really love it!!

And the picture... magnific!
Love ya!!

I'm back.

I see that you are a Christian. So, the labirinth could be used for a moment of prayer, a moment of "connection" between you and God.

It does not have to be a "meditation", or "zen" thing. It can be a path where you focus on your own faith, your own communication with Him.

As you walk, and elevate your thoughts, you search for the peace you are entitled to have in this life. You pray to leave behind your worries, fears, sorrows, sadness and anything else that bothers you.

And as you, slowly, moves to the center, you start feeling closer to your own faith; feeling stronger and more and more trusting.

Please, I do NOT mean to teach you anything. It just stuck to my mind the fact that you associated the labirinth to zen meditation.

Try it once. I would love to hear what you thought of it.
Love ya, girl!

Wow! This is awesome! I have never walked a labyrinth. I'm so impatient, I'd probably zip through it in no time! LOL!

Walking a labyrinth would be an interesting experience. You should try it and follow it however it suits you. :)
